hello everyone, hope ye had a great halloween. Thursday night was crazy, iv'e never seen so many people all in fancy dress, coming from small Tipperary Town I cudn't believe some of the costumes I saw in the city - from Pac man to a dustbin, some people put in serious effort to look good for the celebrations!! I myself found a pig costume in Hallmark and this got a fair few laughs out of a lot of people, although it nearly backfired when a group of drunks started calling me "the swine flu"!!
Anyway we had our first cell biology test on thursday also, it wasn't too bad, once you go to the lectures its not that hard i suspose. Glad its out of the way though. Im absolutely dreading the maths test on the 18th of Nov. Oh god help us all. Some serious cramming to be done for that. The lectures are going grand other than that.The labs are interesting I have to say, it's hands-on which I enjoy, even though the lab reports that I have to write up are piling up very fast!
Other than that I don't have any other news of great importance. I finally cooked my first dinner last week - the pride I felt was incredible!! No more take-away pizzas for me.... well maybe the odd one or two ....... or three.
